Our Story

Melissa A. Hollander is the founder of Hollander & Associates, LLC and recently merged her business with The Sacks Group, Inc. in order to be able to offer and expanded variety of business and personal services.

After more than 20 years of retail banking experience, Melissa decided to follow her passion and dreams to mentor others and focus full-time on providing personal financial counseling to individuals, families, religious organizations and small businesses.

Throughout her personal and professional life, she experienced first-hand and overcame many of the challenges she now helps others navigate on a daily basis.

Melissa, knowing that God was leading her out of the banking business, was lead into this opportunity simply by listening to His leading. A family within her church was really struggling financially and could not begin to "dig themselves out" of the hole that they created.

After careful consideration and direction from her pastor, Melissa approached the young couple and asked them if she could help. This began a 10-month partnership that helped this family take tremendous steps toward personal financial successes.

During this time, she resigned her position with the bank and to start her own business — directing individuals, families and small businesses with simple "no nonsense" financial direction!

Melissa is a certified financial counselor by Dave Ramsey's Lampo Group. Melissa is helping dozens of individuals, small business owners and churches transform their situations by paying off tens of thousands in debt, saving more, jumpstart their careers, grow their businesses...and dramatically change their lives permanently—for the better!
